Our Services

Architecture

Kree8 provides a wide range of architectual services catered to both residential and commercial clients.

Our main focus is on residential projects, from new build individual properties to loft conversions and extensions. We have extensive experience working with listed buildings in conservation areas and on sites located within the  AONB (area of outstanding natural beauty)

We also work in the commercial sector where we can offer complete solutions or individual services including fire certificate plans, Dilapidation surveys, DDA & Disabled adaptions, and CDM & Construction health & safety advice.

Eco

Kree8 can advise on all environmental elements relating to a project.  Focuing on sustainable design aligned with energy efficient construction technology and choice of building materiality whilst enabling  the design aesthetics to shine.

We use advanced Ecotect software and interactive 3D modelling to simulate and analyse building performance right from the earliest stages of conceptual design. By doing this, we can ensure environmental factors are intergrated into the entire design and construction process.

Planning

Each and every design element will affect your council’s decision-making and might just be the key factor between success and failure. Therefore, we see architectural design and town planning as inseparable elements.

We will collaborate with you to come up with a design that fulfils your requirements while being acceptable to the council. Throughout this process, we will continuously check back to your design brief, and assess, adapt and refine your design into a feasible solution.

After the application has been submitted, we will work with the planning officers effectively communicating with them so that they support your project. Ultimately our aim is to work as a closely with the council as possible.  The Kree8 team will collaborate in a positive way, staying motivated throughout the process, so that the planners are happy to grant consent.

Building Regulations

A Full Plans submission will require the preparation of a full set of technical and structural drawings, specifications and details. The Council will assess the submission and will issue comments on the submitted information, and Kree8 will revise the information as necessary following the Council’s comments. For smaller projects and small scale residential alterations a Building Notice can also be submitted.

An alternative to the Local Authority route is the use of Approved Inspectors (private companies) that will examine the submissions, carry out site visits, and certify the works in the same way as the Council’s Building Control Department (Full Plans).
